Alpha Trials
Intellibin launches Alpha trials for early stage customers, and begins work on first production ready sensors for Beta launch.
Prototypes & Patents
Intellibin settles on a design, as well as develops patent pending rough sleeper detection algorithm and the first working prototype.
Intellibin is born and evolves
Intellibin begins developing multiple early prototypes, trying out lots of different approaches to solve the problem of bringing low cost, scalable remote weight monitoring to waste. Stewart and Mark Lawson meet for a coffee and get excited about bins and the future of waste. a
Frustrations with the status quo
As the MD of a Waste Brokerage, Stewart becomes frustrated by customers complaints about unexpected excess weight charges & lack of waste data to help his customers. He has the idea to remotely monitor the weight of bins. Elsewhere Mark Lawson runs technology innovation workshops for senior waste industry leaders and spots the opportunity to use data to make waste more transparent and sustainable. Mark begins his search to setup a waste data company.
